Scott-Carver PCC is planned, organized and staffed by community volunteers. We are again looking for 100+ volunteers for this event. The volunteer opportunities are:
Set up/Tear-Down Assistance – Note: Day before event We will set up a variety of things at the Expo Center: tables, chairs, pipe and drape etc.
Data Entry – On the provided laptops, you will enter data collected throughout the day, about the attendees. There will be additional training for volunteers in this activity.
Clinic Support – You will help with guest coordination in the medical or dental clinic. Medical professional staff will be running the clinics.
Exit Table – At the exit table, you will organize and allow guests to select their own personal hygiene gifts & you will assist with guests and volunteers completing exit surveys.
Food Helpers – You will help with refreshments in the morning, and serving lunch at the mid-day, and clean up.
Greeters – This is a most critical job as you will greet guests as they arrive; you will help them get to the registration table so they can begin their day at PCC.
Support for Service & Agency providers –You will help providers get their lunches, take breaks and hand out water to them.
Hosts – As a host you will accompany each guest (and their family) through the event by first completing an Intake questionnaire, as provided. After they provide information about their most urgent needs, you can work with them to get the most out of their day at PCC.
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to work at the PCC event and are required to complete a Volunteer Training session prior to their shift, available via the video below.
